CRG Homecare’s largest branch has increased its electronic call monitoring (ECM) scores from 60% to 95%.

The Prescot branch staff along with Ann Marie, Branch Manager, has worked hard over the past few months to increase their ECM score in line with Senior leadership Team’s policy of zero-tolerance towards ECM.

The team has promoted the benefit of using the ECM APP as any short-term cancellations will mean that care assistants still get paid and correctly. Daily emails have also been sent to their care assistants reminding them to log in and out and, after the end of every office phone call to care assistants, the team has also reminded them of logging in and out.

Anna Marie said: “To get to this point of 95% compliance has also involved me keeping on top of the ECM. I felt that this was a prudent step to take so that the requirements of logging in and out becomes embedded within the care workers daily routine.

“I have now started to hand this over to the coordinators who will manage their own ECM for each area. It gives them a better insight into the rotas and times of calls.”

The ECM reports have also highlighted possible changes to the service users’ care.

Ann Marie explained: “The cancellation /aborted function has highlighted changes in the need of the service user which in turn has triggered reviews. Everyone feels the branch is safer due to the logs, and the cancellation /abort policy has reduced the no-access emergency response as we have been notified of the cancellation. The notes are also being used to inform the office of tag errors and why the care call was short or longer than the time allocated.”

She added: “The whole branch has had to work together to improve the ECM score and they have all taken on board the need for improvement.”

Well done everyone at the Prescot homecare branch – this is a fantastic achievement!!

Here is one of our lovely Liverpool Coordinators Ren, with her thank you flowers, chocs, and card from some of her fab care workers. They wanted to thank her for all of the support she gives them. Well deserved Ren!

The Southend branch has enjoyed easter festivities 🐰🍫🐣

Our service users have all worked so well on their Easter bonnets and really enjoyed searching for the eggs we hid around the office.
They all especially loved a surprise visit from Buster and Sophie (the rabbits) who came to meet everyone. Sophie was rather unsociable but Buster got involved with the antics.

Welcome to the Castle Donington office team!

Welcome to the world of care coordinating Sarah Summers! Sarah has been with CRG for more than 2 years and has been with her service users for 5 years but now is joining the office team and coordinating care in Coalville. She has a lot of experience and understanding of the service needs availability and location.

Good luck in your new role!

Thank you to the Call Centre – From Sharon Andrews

Last Sunday April 7th was a particularly busy day for me in custody , but I know it was for the call centre staff that we speak to.

I have actually thanked them personally and via Faiq the call centre manager . I know it is part of what we do but I think to promote moral and appreciation is a positive when employees have worked hard when it is stressful and get the job done. It is always nice to be thanked and be recognised for the work we do.

So for me I would like to thank the call centre staff as they have had new contracts to deal with, training the new staff and to keep the flow of things whilst all this is happening.

Last week members or CRG TEC and the Marketing team went out together to enjoy Ladies Day
