CRG round up – 10.05.19

⭐️ Congratulations to our Care Assistant Vincent, who has won Employee of the Month for Compassion ⭐️
Vincent was recognised by an ex councillor and Mayor of Hammersmith and Fulham for their amazing work while caring for him.

We provide care to the ex-councillor and when he was recently awarded honorary title of Alderman and Freedom of the borough he mentioned both carers in his acceptance speech.

Well done Vincent!

It was Sarah Nuttall’s birthday on Wednesday 8th, she works as a Reablement Officer in the Burnley branch. Sarah was 72 years young and received flowers, chocolate and a bottle of Vodka.

The Prescot team held their first Newsletter committee with care workers nominated as representatives for clients and staff within their working area, it was a great success and the first edition of the newsletter is on its way.

Happy Birthday to Custody Nurse, Elinor Thomas!

Last week, 3 Merseyside HCPs were formally recognised for their outstanding service whilst working in Custody and received commendations from Chief Superintendent at an awards ceremony held in the city.

Clinical Lead, Debby McMahon and Custody Nurse, Nicola Sheridan were praised for an emergency intervention they gave to a DP who required resuscitation after collapsing in custody.

In addition to this award, Steavi Taylor was also recognised for her work with a vulnerable female detainee who was at risk of further harm on release, Steavi worked hard to put significant safeguards in place. The female who had herself been extremely volatile when she was initially brought into custody could not praise Steavie highly enough, commenting “I wish she was my support worker she is so lovely”.

CRG Medical Services are incredibly proud to share this fantastic recognition, to be held in such high regards by our customer (Merseyside Police) is truly impressive and a glowing endorsement of the high levels of professional work undertaken daily across our contracts.
