We’re Famous

Starting last night and continuing throughout the May, CRG Medical Services are involved in the filming of a Channel 5 documentary titled ’60 minutes in the Force’, it will focus on a weekly 60 min period and follow the events within Derby Police Station’s custody suite. The producers will evaluate what is happening during this hour and select an event to film (investigations, interviews, arrests etc). This may mean that certain storylines will involve our staff performing their critical role and highlight the important work undertaken by our staff to ensure that detainees are kept safe, whilst also assisting investigating officers in the collection of forensic evidence as part of criminal cases. This is a great opportunity to showcase CRG Medical Services and our great staff, we will let you know when its due to be aired!

A nice thank you

Despite the high number of individuals who we keep safe and well whilst in Police Custody by our staff, it isn’t often that we get to hear just how appreciative they are of the care and compassion that they receive. Whilst many do verbally thank our staff, it’s unusual to receive a written letter of thanks. However, we have recently received such a letter from a detainee who was treated by Dyfed Powys Police Custody HCPs Julie McClennon and Debbie Harrison. The gentleman wanted to express his gratitude for their ‘upmost care and consideration’ along with their ‘help and kindness’. This is a great endorsement of the way our staff deliver services throughout our contracts and we are genuinely thrilled to receive such feedback. Well done Julie and Debbie, you should be rightfully proud!

Our Senior Recruitment Consultant for Software – Deb Coburn placed a Software Contractor into one team at Savills and the Development Manager recommended Deb and CRG TEC to another Team that we haven’t worked with before. We are working on a permanent Software developer role for them.

CRG TEC Managing Director, Neil Crudden won a retained search: Enterprise Architect role with Manchester City Council this week.

This is an important and senior position in their ‘Children and Families’ directorate.

If anyone in the wider business knows any high end, strategy based Enterprise Architects, please send across their details as MCC have said a social or healthcare background could be of relevance.

Neil would be happy to outline the role and talk through it in more detail with anyone in the larger company if they know anyone, and want to email him: nc@crgtec.uk.com

Fact Friday

Queen Elizabeth visited the set of Game of Thrones, but because of an obscure rule, she wasn’t allowed to sit on the iron throne. The ruling monarch can’t sit on a foreign throne, even if it’s fictional, apparently.
