    Good news

Akbar Hassam recently took part in the Lyke Wake walk challenge. It’s a 40 mile overnight challenge starting at midnight and walking across the whole of North Yorkshire, West to East. He did it in 14h 2m. It threw everything at the team on the walk, from seeing sunrise to walking after sunset, to bogs, crags, ravines, concrete, brick, stone, clay, mud, heather, wind, rain and endless horizons. Going into checkpoint at mile 32 the legs were still relatively fresh but setting off for the last 8 miles was a challenge of its own. Brilliant support staff kept everyone fuelled and good weather for December.
