We understand the importance of additional support for families, which is why our care workers are here to help you around the home. Our care staff can provide support in a number of different ways, from making day-to-day routines more manageable, to simply being a listening ear for your child.
Whether you require temporary assistance or longer-term support, our care workers can offer the continuity of care needed, helping your child to be as independent as possible, or supporting you to be able to spend with other child (if you have them), or simply to take a break from your caring role. We have practical experience when it comes to looking after children, including dealing with challenging behaviour, physical and mental disabilities, and complex special needs.
The Support We Offer
We tailor our care plans to suit your family’s needs and to meet any specific individual requests.
Some of the support that our care staff provides includes…
- Preparing meals
- Participating in activities with your child (e.g. crafts or reading)
- Planning daytrips (e.g. to the cinema or park)
- Assisting with bathing and other personal hygiene
- Overseeing medication
- Allowing you time to relax or go out
