General Practitioner AV Med – Military Locum – Swindon

CRG Defence require a professional and experienced Aviation Medicine trained General Practitioner in the Swindon area who has current GMC Registration. This is a FULL TIME role and the successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 HOURS between WORKING DAYS each week.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for entitled personnel.
  • Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) assessments within the locum doctor’s scope of experience and qualification.
  • To inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a patient’s ability to undertake their duties.
  • To complete reports and documentation in accordance with internal policy or the requirements of any other government department.

    What you will need:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • General Practitioners must be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) both on the main register and on the GMC GP Register without Restrictions.
  • Diploma in Aviation Medicine or have completed the RAF Military Aviation Medicine Examiner (MAME) Course.
  • Evidence of valid & satisfactory appraisal and valid medical indemnity insurance.
