Two CRG Medical Services FME staff have been awarded the Certificate in Custody Healthcare Professional Induction.
Dorset FME staff Emma-Jayne Holder and Liz James (pictured left) completed the qualification, the first UK accredited programme for Custody Induction, via Staffordshire University.
Funded by CRG, the course involved evidencing knowledge and skill levels, personal analysis and action planning within the core areas of work. After submitting an evidence folder, the course culminated in a presentation and question and answer session.
The course entailed 130 hours independent learning and 20 hours scheduled learning. It is hoped that the certificate will become a minimum standard for custody healthcare professionals.
David Henretty, Operations Manager at CRG Medical Services, said: “Many congratulations to Emma- Jayne and Liz – this is a fantastic achievement and shows we are committed to our staff professional development.”
